rxhealthcare has a commitment to open systems and wherever possible the use of freeware products and services to lower the cost of health informatics delivery. Therefore it is no surprise that all rx healthcare products operate using a number of web browser offerings. Our preferred products are both free to the user Mozilla Firefox and Safari, both operate in both the Windows and MacOS environments, among others.

We asses each release of these products and test them thoroughly before recommending that you download them as the vehicle to run our software. As you would all appreciate, any software can have bugs which affect the performance of our products. We always aim to stay ahead of any problems you could encounter and keep you informed at all times.

Firefox

This multi award winning browser has proven itself in the field over time and is a particularly stable product with many important security features we like. The latest release of the product on which we recommend you operate PatientSoft is Firefox v 3.1.5. You can download this version from the Mozilla website.

Safari

Safari was originally developed for the MacOS and iPhone environments but has recently made big inroads into the Windows market. It is the world’s fastest browser and is an outstanding product we are proud to endorse for use with PatientSoft. You can download this version from the Apple website.
