PatientSoft has a fully featured theatre list. Linked to the Appointment/ Diary it enables designated time slots to be allocated for surgical procedures in advance and populated as the final patient list is known. All necessary details concerning the procedure can be recorded and all pre operative documentation including that which requires completion by the patient can be easily located and printed. A summary of the final list along with all relevant information is generated by the practitioner. A summary of all procedures performed can be generated by the practitioner using the following filters (date range; location; referring doctor; patient name; practitioner; item number codes; assisting surgeon; anesthetist). All reports can be viewed on screen and also be output to PDF and MS Word for printing and dispatch as required. Theatre portal (RX Clinical Portal) under construction capable of integrating the practitioner’s desktop with the hospital theatre booking system in real time.
