Physiotherapy

Picture Archiving & Communications System (PACS)
rxhealthcare offers an integrated PACS as part of its Radiology Information System (RIS) product module. An important part of any PACS offering is an ability to seamlessly accept DICOM images from a wide range of diagnostic equipment vendors.
Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS) are computers or networks dedicated to the storage, retrieval, distribution and presentation of images. The images are stored in an independent format, the most common of which is DICOM. Here is some more detailed information about PatientSoft’s PACS solution.
The Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) standard is used by virtually every medical profession that utilizes images within the healthcare industry. DICOM also addresses the integration of information produced by these various specialty applications in the patient’s Electronic Health Record (EHR).
